Marvin Windows Headquarters Field Trip
This past November, I had the privilege of visiting Marvin’s headquarters in Warroad, Minnesota—a trip made possible by our friends at Portland Millwork. Alongside a group of architects, designers, and builders, I experienced firsthand what makes Marvin such an exceptional company. From their meticulous craftsmanship to their unwavering commitment to quality, this visit solidified our partnership with Marvin and reinforced our trust in their products.
A Culture of Excellence
Marvin Windows has built a truly remarkable company culture. Stepping into their headquarters, it was immediately evident that this is a company grounded in strong values and an unwavering dedication to quality. Their approach to craftsmanship isn’t just about making windows and doors—it’s about designing products that enhance how people experience their homes. Every detail is carefully considered, from the materials selected to the precision of their production process.
One of the most impressive takeaways from the visit was Marvin’s commitment to quality control. We had the opportunity to witness their rigorous testing processes, where products are pushed to the limits to ensure they withstand the test of time. Seeing their dedication to innovation and durability up close reinforced our confidence in their products and their ability to deliver lasting performance.
Guided by Strong Core Values
Marvin’s success isn’t just built on great products—it’s driven by an inspiring company culture. Their core values serve as the foundation for everything they do:
Do the Right Thing – Act with integrity and honesty.
Be Stronger Together – Value collaboration and teamwork.
Think Differently – Foster innovation and creative problem-solving.
Raise the Bar – Strive for excellence in quality and craftsmanship.
Believe It’s Possible – Maintain a forward-thinking, optimistic mindset.
These values aren’t just words on paper—their employees and leadership team truly embody them. I especially appreciated their core value, Believe It’s Possible: this captures their progressive mindset and commitment to using feedback as a tool for continuous improvement. Throughout the tour, various departments actively sought our input as builders, demonstrating a genuine desire to grow and refine their products. It was inspiring to see how much they valued and implemented feedback.
Strengthening Our Partnership
This visit also reaffirmed the strength of our collaboration with Portland Millwork and Marvin Windows. As we continue to craft high-end custom homes and remodels, bringing architectural visions to life, having partners who share our commitment to quality and integrity is invaluable.
We left Warroad with a renewed sense of appreciation and excitement for the future. The insights gained from this experience will directly benefit our work, allowing us to better serve our clients with products that are not only beautiful but built to last.
A heartfelt thank you to Marvin and Portland Millwork for this incredible experience. We look forward to many more years of collaboration and shared success!
